Spotlight on the wines from Caiarossa

Dear Friends of Pasquale,

This month, I am pleased to shine the spotlight on the esteemed Caiarossa estate, nestled southeast of Pisa and very close to Bolgheri.

Our selection features a collection of Caiarossa wines, including the current release of Aria, 2014 release of Pergolaia along with the spectacular 2010 vintage of Rosso Caiarossa.

The name "Caiarossa" is a tribute to the divine Earth, Gaia, and the vibrant hues of red that characterize this enchanting locale. Each bottle proudly bears the symbol of an Etruscan statue of Dionysus, the god of wine, symbolizing the estate's commitment to crafting wines of unparalleled quality and character.

Since its inception in 1998, Caiarossa has been dedicated to sustainable viticulture, with a steadfast focus on organic and biodynamic farming practices. This holistic approach is reflected in every glass, as the wines beautifully express the terroir and spirit of Tuscany.

Spanning 100 hectares of pristine land, the Caiarossa estate encompasses vineyards, forests, meadows, and olive groves. The diverse soils, characterized by jasper, rock, and pebbles, nurture a harmonious blend of ten grape varieties, including Sangiovese, Merlot, Cabernet Sauvignon, and Syrah, to name a few.

Should you have any questions or wish to place an order, our team is here for you. We look forward to sharing these exceptional wines with you.

Cheers to great wine and good company!

Warm regards from Lucca,
Pasqualino Gubitosa
