Barolo Chinato Palladino

​Barolo Chinato is an aromatized wine from the Langhe, obtained by adding a blend of herbs and spices to Barolo DOCG, including the bark of cinchona calisaia, cloves and cinnamon, as well as sugar and alcohol. This process gives the wine an intense and complex aroma, with dominant notes of cinchona, cloves and cinnamon. On the palate, it is soft, velvety and enveloping, with a balance between sweetness and a pleasant bitterish aftertaste.
