Brunello di Montalcino "Campogiovanni" is an austere and powerful red wine, aged for 3 years in oak barrels. On the nose it offers a rainbow of refined and intense sensations, including cherries in alcohol, black fruit jelly, sweet spices and toasted touches of coffee and tobacco. On the palate it shows a robust and powerful body, which moves with elegance and depth, wrapped in a pleasant tannic texture.
An intense red color with garnet reflections heralds a broad nose of ripe red fruits, blackberry jam, licorice and tobacco. In the mouth the structure is impressive and rich, softened by a pleasant freshness and verticality and a long mineral finish. The ideal accompaniment to savory dishes based on wild boar, game and other important red meats.
