A warm, full and balanced red wine made from Nebbiolo grapes cultivated and vinified by Manzone Giovanni in the Langhe. The grapes come from a single vineyard, in the MGA of Gramolere, in the municipality of Monforte d'Alba. The average age of the vines is about 35 years and the extreme slope of the hill makes manual work indispensable.
Bouquet: Intense and harmonious; good fruit with cherry and raspberry. Spicy and balsamic finish.
Colour: Ruby red with vivid reflections and dense texture.
Taste: Warm, full, soft, with excellent tannic balance and good savoury.
The Barolo Gramolere is put on the market about 5 years after the harvest with a production of several thousand bottles.
