Domaine de Villaine Bouzeron 2017

The Domaine de Villaine winery, located in Burgundy, is owned by Aubert de Villaine, co-director of the renowned Domaine de la Romanée-Conti. The 2017 Bouzeron is a pure and refined expression of the Aligoté grape. With an alcohol content of 12.5%, the wine ages in stainless steel and oak for approximately 12 months. The nose opens with a lively, mineral bouquet of white flowers, citrus, and a hint of green apple. The palate is fresh and taut, with a pleasant acidity that makes it dynamic and thirst-quenching. It pairs perfectly with seafood, grilled fish, and fresh goat cheeses.
