Barolo Vignarionda Pira & Figli 2015

From the historic Pira & Figli winery, a family-run winery in Serralunga d'Alba that produces Barolo with a traditional approach, the 2015 Barolo Vignarionda is an extraordinary expression of power, elegance, and longevity. Made from pure Nebbiolo grapes and with an alcohol content of 14.5%, the wine has been aged extensively in large oak barrels. Ten years after the harvest, it presents a complex and layered bouquet of ripe cherry, plum, tobacco, leather, sweet spices, and a balsamic touch. On the palate, it is structured and enveloping, with dense yet silky tannins and a pleasant freshness that guarantees a long evolution over time.
