Barbera d'Alba Bartolo Mascarello 2020

From the historic and renowned Bartolo Mascarello winery, a symbol of tradition in the Langhe, the 2020 Barbera d'Alba is a wine that expresses the varietal's character with purity and freshness. Made from 100% Barbera grapes and with an alcohol content of 14%, it is aged for approximately one year in large Slavonian oak barrels. It presents an intense aroma of crisp red fruits, such as cherry and raspberry, accompanied by floral notes and a hint of spice. On the palate, it is lively and juicy, with a pleasant acidity and a very smooth drinkability that makes it extremely versatile. It pairs magnificently with savory first courses, cured meats, and moderately mature cheeses.
