From the Berlinga winery, the 2018 Bertinga is a Tuscan red blend that embodies the tension and elegance of Chianti Classico di Monti in Chianti. Made from 60% Cabernet Sauvignon and 40% Merlot, with an alcohol content of 14.5%, the wine ages for approximately 24 months in large oak barrels. It presents an intense aroma of wild berries, spicy notes, and a balsamic touch. On the palate, it is soft and enveloping, with silky tannins and a long, persistent finish. It pairs perfectly with red meat dishes and aged cheeses.
