Cantina Toblino Baticor Pinot Noir 2020

Baticòr 2020 by Cantina Toblino is an organic Pinot Nero Trentino DOC. The grapes come from a vineyard over 10 years old located at 250 meters above sea level on soil of glacial origin, composed of limestone and silicon. After manual harvesting in mid-September, alcoholic fermentation with indigenous yeasts takes place in truncated cone-shaped oak vats, followed by malolactic fermentation in small French oak barrels for over 20 days, giving the wine a velvety consistency. The aging continues for over 10 months in the same barrels, then in steel until bottling, followed by a few months in the bottle. It has a delicate ruby ​​red color. On the nose it offers refined aromas of raspberry and cranberry, with light spicy notes of vanilla and nutmeg. On the palate it is elegant, round and enveloping, with soft and well-integrated tannins, and a harmonious and persistent finish.
