Rampolla d'Alceo Castle 2019 Cabernet Sauvignon

Castello dei Rampolla's D'Alceo 2019 is a Toscana IGT obtained from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon (85%) and Petit Verdot (15%). The grapes come from vineyards cultivated according to biodynamic practices in the "Conca d'Oro" of Panzano in Chianti. After fermentation with indigenous yeasts in concrete vats, the wine ages for 18 months in barriques and further refines in the bottle. It has an intense ruby ​​red color; on the nose it offers a complex bouquet with notes of ripe cherry, dark berries, undergrowth, licorice and sweet spices. On the palate it is structured and elegant, with well-integrated tannins and a remarkable persistence.
