Chateau Brane Cantenac Margaux 2016

Sale price€110,00

Classified as a Second Grand Cru Classé in 1855, Château Brane-Cantenac is an icon of the elegance and finesse of the Margaux appellation. Situated in a prime location, it produces wines that perfectly balance the power typical of great Bordeaux reds with the silkiness of their terroir. 2016 was an exceptional vintage throughout Bordeaux, acclaimed for its quality and remarkable aging potential.

This wine, with an alcohol content of 13.5%, is a blend of 70% Cabernet Sauvignon, 27% Merlot, and 3% Cabernet Franc. It has been aged for approximately 18 months in French barriques, 30% of which are new. On the nose, it presents a complex and seductive bouquet of black berry fruit, such as cassis and cherry, enriched with notes of cedar, tobacco, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is incredibly elegant and harmonious, with fine, silky tannins, a solid structure, and a long, persistent finish. It pairs perfectly with rich roasts, game, and aged cheeses.
