Bolgheri Superiore Tenuta Guado al Tasso 2016

From the historic Tenuta Guado al Tasso, one of the most prestigious wineries in the Bolgheri appellation and owned by the Antinori family, the 2016 Bolgheri Superiore is an extraordinary expression of power and elegance. Located in one of the most prestigious areas of the Tuscan coast, the winery is renowned for its highly balanced wines, which combine the richness of Merlot and Cabernet with the finesse of their terroir. 2016 was an exceptional vintage, producing wines of great structure, elegance, and aging potential.

Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, and Cabernet Franc, with an alcohol content of 14.5%, the wine has been aged extensively in French oak barriques. On the nose, it presents a complex and layered bouquet of dark fruits, such as cassis and blackberry, enriched with notes of tobacco, sweet spices, leather, and a touch of balsamic.
