Guado al Tasso 2016 Bolgheri Superiore

Guado al Tasso 2016 is a Bolgheri DOC Superiore produced by Tenuta Guado al Tasso dei Marchesi Antinori. Composed of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc and a small percentage of Petit Verdot, it represents the elegance and complexity of the Bolgheri terroir. The grapes, selected manually, ferment in stainless steel for 15-20 days, followed by malolactic fermentation in barrique. The refinement takes place in new French oak barriques until bottling in July 2018. It has an intense ruby ​​red color; on the nose it offers hints of plum, blueberry jam, leather, licorice root and balsamic notes of mint. On the palate it is taut, persistent, with refined tannins and delicate balsamic hints. A vintage of extraordinary elegance.
