Bolgheri Superiore Guado de Gemoli Chiappini 2022

From the historic Chiappini winery, a family-run business faithful to the traditions of the Bolgheri region, the 2022 Guado de Gemoli is an extraordinary expression of power and elegance. The Chiappini family, with their profound knowledge of the terroir, has also masterfully interpreted the 2022 vintage, which, despite the climatic challenges, has produced a wine of great balance and finesse.

Made from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon and Merlot, with an alcohol content of 14%, the wine has been aged for approximately 18 months in oak barrels. On the nose, it presents a complex and layered bouquet of dark fruits, such as cassis and blackberry, enriched with notes of tobacco, sweet spices, leather, and a touch of balsamic. On the palate, it is powerful and structured, yet incredibly elegant and velvety. The tannins are dense yet very fine, and the vibrant acidity ensures exceptional evolution. The finish is long and persistent, a true masterpiece of balance. It pairs magnificently with rich red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.
