The Rennero Cantina Guado del Re 2019

From the Gualdo del Re winery, a family-run winery located in Suvereto, in the heart of the Tuscan Maremma, I' Rennero 2019 is an extraordinary expression of pure Merlot. 2019 was an excellent vintage, producing wines of great harmony and longevity, while maintaining an already intriguing drinkability. With an alcohol content of 14.5%, the wine ages for approximately 18 months in oak barrels. On the nose, it offers an opulent bouquet of dark fruits, such as blackberry and blueberry, enriched with notes of dark chocolate, coffee, and sweet spices. On the palate, it is powerful yet velvety, with a full body and silky tannins. It pairs magnificently with rich red meat dishes, game, and aged cheeses.
