The Paleo Macchiole 2016

Paleo Rosso 2016 by Le Macchiole is a Toscana IGT obtained exclusively from Cabernet Franc grapes. The bunches come from the Puntone vineyards (planted in 1994), Casa Nuova (1998) and Vignone (1999). The 2016 vintage was characterized by a regular development of the grapes and an optimal maturation, giving rise to a high quality production. The wine expresses varietal notes of graphite, tobacco leaf and black pepper, enriched by fruity tones and hints of wild thyme, reflecting the sunny character of Bolgheri.
