Pauillac Grand Vin Chateau Lynch Bages 2010
From the prestigious Château Lynch-Bages, an icon of the Pauillac appellation and one of Bordeaux's most celebrated Cinquième Cru Classés, the 2010 Grand Vin is an extraordinary expression of power, elegance, and longevity. Renowned for its classic, structured wines with great aging potential, the estate has masterfully interpreted an exceptional vintage, considered one of the best of the decade and destined to endure for decades to come.
Produced from a blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Merlot, Cabernet Franc, and Petit Verdot grapes, with an alcohol content of 14%, the wine has been aged extensively in French oak barrels. Fifteen years after the harvest, it presents a complex and layered bouquet of black fruits, blackcurrant, cedar, tobacco, leather, and a balsamic touch. On the palate, it is structured and enveloping, with dense yet silky tannins and a pleasant freshness that guarantees a long evolution over time. The finish is persistent and leaves an impression of great harmony and depth. It pairs magnificently with rich red meat dishes, game, and mature cheeses.
