Percarlo San Giusto a Rentennano 2019

From the historic San Giusto winery in Rentennano, one of the most prestigious in the Chianti Classico appellation, the 2019 Percarlo is an expression of great depth and aging potential. Renowned for its traditional style and meticulous attention to terroir, the winery masterfully interpreted an exceptional vintage, producing wines of great structure and complexity, destined to last for decades.

Made from pure Sangiovese grapes, with an alcohol content of 14.5%, the wine has been aged for 20-22 months in new French oak barriques and 18 months in bottle. Still young, it presents a complex and layered bouquet of cherry, plum, tobacco, leather, and spices. On the palate, it is structured and enveloping, with dense tannins and a pleasant freshness that guarantees a long evolution over time. The finish is persistent and leaves an impression of great harmony and depth. It pairs magnificently with rich red meat dishes, game, and mature cheeses.
