The Pergole Torte 2016 Sangiovese

Le Pergole Torte 2016 by Montevertine is a symbolic wine obtained exclusively from Sangiovese. The grapes come from historic vineyards, ferment in cement and mature 12 months in Allier barriques and 12 months in Slavonian barrels. Bright ruby ​​red in color, the nose offers notes of black fruits, spices, red flowers and graphite. On the palate it is deep, elegant and persistent, with ripe and harmonious tannins, ideal with roasts and aged cheeses.
