San Carlo Brunello di Montalcino 2019
SanCarlo's Brunello di Montalcino 2019 is produced with Sangiovese grapes grown in the company's vineyards located in Tavernelle, Montalcino, at about 400 meters above sea level. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over and delestage for a delicate extraction of polyphenols. The wine ages for 36 months in 30 hl Slavonian oak barrels, followed by bottle aging for at least 8 months. It has an intense ruby red color with light garnet reflections. On the nose it offers aromas of red fruit, undergrowth and aromatic herbs, combined with notes of licorice and spices. On the palate it is rich, savory, with dense tannins and a long finish with citrus and balsamic hints.
