San Carlo Red of Montalcino 2022

Rosso di Montalcino 2022 by SanCarlo is a red wine obtained from Sangiovese grapes grown in the municipality of Montalcino. Fermentation takes place in steel tanks at a controlled temperature, with daily pumping over and delestage for a delicate extraction of polyphenols. After spontaneous malolactic fermentation, the wine ages for a year in steel tanks, followed by 6 months in 10 hl Slavonian oak barrels, and further refines for at least 6 months in the bottle. It has a ruby ​​red color with youthful purple reflections. On the nose it offers an intense and concentrated aroma of ripe fruit, with a pleasant vinous freshness. On the palate it is full and complex, with a consistent tannic structure, in perfect harmony with the noble tannins of the original grapes.
