San Giusto a Rentennano The Ricolma 2016

La Ricolma 2016 by San Giusto a Rentennano is a pure Merlot, produced from grapes harvested manually at perfect late ripeness. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks for about 18 days, followed by spontaneous malolactic fermentation. The wine ages for 20-22 months in French oak barriques, before being further refined in the bottle. It has a garnet red color and offers notes of succulent black cherry, sweet tobacco, spices and leather on the nose. On the palate it is intense, with softness and depth, characterized by an elegant structure and a persistent finish.
