Macon verze 2019

​The 2019 Mâcon-Verzé from Domaine Leflaive is a white wine produced in the Burgundy region of France, made from Chardonnay grapes grown in the vineyards of the commune of Verzé. These vineyards, acquired in 2003, are cultivated according to biodynamic practices on calcareous-clayey soils. Fermentation takes place in stainless steel tanks with indigenous yeasts, followed by aging for 16 months in steel, with possible light filtration before bottling. The wine has a bright straw yellow color; on the nose it offers floral and mineral aromas, with notes of green apple and citrus. On the palate it is fresh and balanced, with a lively energy and a pleasant minerality.
